This last week was pretty uneventful. Saturday was a nice clear day so Zack pulled out our new lawn edger for the first time and messed around with it a bit, he trimmed the lawn edges and edged the back patio and a one edge of our driveway before calling it quits. Between our grass being so overgrown and the weight of the trimmer it was quite a chore, he said he'd finish the rest of it later. Once it all gets trimmed once it will be easier to maintain.

I decided on Saturday too that I was going to take it "off" and just kick back and read a book all day...I know what you're thinking "with 4 kids running around how is that possible?" well I'll tell you now that it's NOT possible. The kids begged for treats and snacks all day, they were bickering and fighting with eachother over the games they were playing together, Leah at one point stripped off all her clothes and was running around naked (EEP!). Me? I was constantly having to get up to do this or that or yell at the kids to stop fighting or to get out of the kitchen because "we just had lunch and it's NOT snack time!" You'd think they were poor starving children! Finally evening came and the the sitter showed up and Zack and I were able to go out and meet my family for a nice relaxing dinner (whew!)
Then, Sunday we were sitting in Sunday school and I found Mosiah 4 open in my lap "14 And ye will not suffer your children that they go hungry, or naked; neither will ye suffer that they... fight and quarrel one with another.." and I turned to Zack and said" Wow! I think I was doing some sufferin' yesterday!" He got a good chuckle.
All I can say is that its going to be a long "sufferin" Summer

Wow - Zack did yard work? I'm impressed! Just tell him the end is in sight - once your son is big enough, he can do the yard work - it's only 8 more years or so...
I'll remember that scripture next time Tyler strips down to nothin and is jumping on the trampoline.
