So this morning I was contemplating how much longer before I had all the kids were going to be home for summer break. There's 25 days left to go...or 600 hours...or 360000 minutes. I can't decide if I'm dreading it or looking forward to it. On one hand, I'll have Emma and Bekah home to play with and entertain Sarah and Leah more. On the other hand I'll have Emma and Bekah home to torture Sarah and Leah more. Just as it is nice to be able to drop them off and the school system take care of them for most of the day, it will be nice to have them home where I can see what trouble they are getting into and be able to go do things we want to do. So I'm torn.
As I was considering all of this I thought to myself "those 2 little girls of mine haven't been in to bother me for awhile, I wonder what they are up to?" So I went to check on them and discovered they had decided to play playdough in their room... with all the playdough at once. It was everywhere, there was no saving it. They gave me a couple sheepish looks and then cracked a grin when they decided I wasn't going to get mad. I'm still not in the habit of grabbing the camera to document such tragedys so I don't have any pictures of the mess. Believe me, messy it was. Sarah was a good girl and cleaned most of it up.
So now I sit here thinking " ug 25 more days....600 more minutes!" If 2 can make that big of a mess imagine what 4 can do!
