(this video cuts into the end of Emma's recital, I missed the first bit of it)
This weekend, Emma and I got to go to Utah State University for their annual piano festival. She didn't compete this year, but she was able to play for the judges. She played 2 pieces the first one was more dnamically difficult but I didnt manage to get my camera out in time to film it. I did manage to catch the last little bit of the second piece though. She received awesome reviews, They felt like she was well prepared and followed the dynamics on the the piece quite well. Emma told me afterward that she loved taking piano because she can go do things like the piano festival. Yay Emma! Now just keep up that attitude all year :)

Aaah...reminds me of the days I use to play in festivals. That was a lot of fun. I hope she'll stick with it...it is a talent that is very useful in the church!
She did good! How awesome! I'm glad she enjoyed doing it, and that she didn't find it terrifying to play in front of an audience!
